Meet Sara.
Sara learned to braid at her mother's knee in Arlington, before it became a profession. More than a decade later she works out of her own studio on North Glebe Road, where she has built a quiet reputation for tension-free braids and hair that actually thrives underneath them.
Her approach is simple: understand the hair first, then design the style around it. Appointments are long by nature — a full set of knotless braids can take five hours — and Sara treats that time as part of the service rather than something to rush through.
Whether you are here for a protective style, a press, or a reset after months of braiding, you will leave with a plan for your hair, not just a look.
